About IoT

The internet of thing, or IoT, is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals and or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction

What is importance of IoT

IoT has huge importance for business as well as for consumers It is important to sense and collect data from connected devices, and then share that data across the internet where it can be processed and decision. We can monitor our homes and businesses remotely to keep them secure.

What is IoT and how it works ?

The Internet of things also sometime referred to as the Internet of everything, consists of all the web-enabled devices that collect, send and act on data they acquire from their surrounding environment using embedded sensors processors and communication hardware

What is IoT application

Internet of Thing and its applications basically refers to network interfacing and communication of physical objects, devices and peripherals. M2M refers to connecting a device to the cloud, managing it and collecting data. Taking M2M to the next level, IoT is a senor network of billions of smart devices that connect people, systems and other applications to collect share data. As its foundation,M2M offers the connectivity that enables IoT. Smart city is another powerful application of IoT generating curiosity among world 's population smart surveillance, automated transportation, smarter energy management systems, water distribution urban security and environmental monitoring all are example of internet of thing applications for smart cities

What are the advantages of IoT
Some of its major advantages are communication : IoT system are increase and encourages machine to machine innovation, physical devices stay in touch with one another leading to greater efficiency and higher quality. It also allows full transparency

What are the component use in Internet of Thing

Smart devices and sensors

IoT devices are meant to work in concert for people at home, in industry or in the enterprise. As such, the devices can be categorized into three main groups: consumer, enterprise and industrial. Consumer connected devices include smart TVs, smart speakers, toy and smart appliances. Devices and sensors are the component of the device connectivity layer, There smart sensors are continuously collecting data from the information to the next layer.

Gateway

An Internet of Things gateway is a physical device or software program that serves as the connection point between the cloud and controllers, sensors and intelligent device Another benefit of an IoT gateway is that it can provide additional security for the IoT network and the data it transports. IoT gateway manages the directional data traffic different networks and protocols. Anther function of gateway is to translate different network protocols. and make sure interoperabihity of the connected device and sensors

Cloud

Internet of thing creates massive data from device, application and users which has to be managed in an efficient way. IoT cloud offers tools to collect, process, manage and store huge amount of data in real time Industries and Services can easily access these data remotely and make critical decisions

Analytics

Analytics is the process of converting analog data from billions of smart devices and sensors into useful in insights which can be interpreted are used for detailed analytics. Smart analytics solutions are inevitable for IoT system for management and improvident of the entire systems

User Interface

Users need a way to view and understand the data captured by IoT. That's where the interface come in. In the simplest terms, a user interface is the means by which a user and a computer system interact. User interface are the visible, tangible part of the IoT systems which can be accessible by uses. Designers will have to make sure a well designed users interface for minimum effort for user and encourage more

Comments

  1. Internet of things has taken role of sensors and evolution of sensors to a completely different level. Thank you for sharing the information. I'll share this with my friends who are working with IoT at https://store.ubibot.io/
